Winner of the Phinney Winter Beer Fest

Two Beers ‘Jive Espresso Stout’

 Jive Espresso Stout (Winter Seasonal)
Jive is made for those who enjoy life at a more deliberate pace. The earthy-ness of this beer is a tribute to the rich experience of a slow hike in the woods and drinking deeply from nature. Strong and steady malt tones, a subtle coffee and chocolate nose and hops entertain your tongue as you wander down the path. Cheers!

CRISPIN ORIGINAL PREMIUM CIDER

crisp, refreshing cider over ice

Crisp over ice. A classically styled, but untraditional hard apple cider. Fruit forward, with a fresh, crunchy appley nose and a deliciously creamy, refreshingly crisp mouth feel.

Come in and try a ‘Pour mans Black Velvet’ … a.k.a ‘Snakebite’

(The name snakebite is commonly mistakenly applied to a combination of stout (often Guinness ) and cider. This is properly referred to as a Poor Man’s Black Velvet because Stout and Champagne is Black Velvet!)  …Wikipedia

Welcome

The Barking Dog Alehouse opened in 2004, successfully combining classic Belgian and Micro Beers with a great neighborhood atmosphere. January 1, 2007 saw the Barking Dog change owners, but not the commitment to quality. We continue to rotate a variety of local and specialty brews and bring to you a delicious ‘American Bar and Grill’ menu with creative weekend ‘Specials’.
