We are excited to be offering you 3 new organic wines from two Mendocino County winerys.
Girasole Winery and Parducci Vineyards.

While the buzz around the term “organic” is relatively recent, Charlie’s organic farming practices date back more than 60 years.  “Our organic practices in the vineyard benefit more than just the land and the wines. Our employees, our wildlife and neighboring farms also benefit from these practices by ensuring that our water systems and soils are free of harmful chemicals.
We were one of the first grape farmers in the North Coast of California to use water for over-head frost protection, a system developed in Israel and Germany in the early 1960’s. And today, we’re still picking grapes the way Charlie’s grandfather did over 100 years ago…by hand!”

In three short years, Parducci Family Farmed has implemented significant mitigation practices that include a solar installation, an energy-efficiency audit in partnership with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), the implementation of biodiesel in company vehicles and farm equipment, converting from incandescent to fluorescent lighting in the winery and a local tree planting program.

We use 100% post-consumer (New Leaf) and tree-free (Kenaf) papers in packaging, point-of-sale, stationery, brochures and all other printed materials. We use both post-consumer recycled papers (to reduce consumer waste) and tree-free papers (to avoid cutting down forests). Welcome

The Barking Dog Alehouse opened in 2004, successfully combining classic Belgian and Micro Beers with a great neighborhood atmosphere. January 1, 2007 saw the Barking Dog change owners, but not the commitment to quality. We continue to rotate a variety of local and specialty brews and bring to you a delicious ‘American Bar and Grill’ menu with creative weekend ‘Specials’.
